Terms of Service

Last updated September 5, 2026

CalmRadar is a small set of personal tools and preserved archives, published for anyone to use, free, with no account and nothing to buy. These terms say what you can expect from that and what is expected of you in return. They are meant to be read, so they are written in ordinary sentences.

The short version

  • Free to use. No account, no purchase, no promises of uptime.
  • Not affiliated with Delta Air Lines or any other company named on this site.
  • The fare preview runs on invented data. The bag helper does not file a claim — Delta’s own form does.
  • The archives preserve other people’s work; ask before treating it as yours.
  • Everything is provided as is, and used at your own risk.

The agreement

These terms apply to calmradar.com and everything served from it: the landing page, the Delta Fare Watch preview at /delta, the bag guarantee helper at /delta-bags, the Woot-Off Checker museum at /woot/, and the Film Log Database archive at /filmlog/. Using the site means accepting them. If you do not accept them, the remedy is simple and costs you nothing: close the page.

Throughout, “CalmRadar” means this site and whoever operates it. How your information is handled is a separate document — see the Privacy Policy.

What CalmRadar is

A personal project. The tools here were built to solve the operator’s own problems and are published because they may solve yours too. That shapes what you should expect: there is no company behind them, no service level, no support desk, and no obligation to keep any of it running, working, or online.

Nothing here is sold. No account is created for you, no payment is taken, and no subscription exists. Using the site creates no relationship between us beyond these terms.

No affiliation with anyone named here

CalmRadar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Delta Air Lines, Woot, IMDb, The Movie Database, Rotten Tomatoes, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Google, Meta, or any other company named or linked anywhere on this site.

Company names, product names, and logos that appear here belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the service being discussed. The Film Log archive uses The Movie Database API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.

If any page here ever reads as though it were an official channel of one of those companies, that is a mistake to be corrected, not a claim being made. Say so at privacy@calmradar.com.

The Delta tools

Two pages here concern Delta Air Lines, and each needs to be understood for what it is.

The fare watch preview

Everything shown at /delta is invented. The routes, the fares, the savings, and the trips are sample data written to demonstrate an interface. None of it reflects a real price, a real seat, or a real offer, and nothing there can be booked. Do not make a travel decision on the strength of a number on that page.

The bag guarantee helper

/delta-bags is an unofficial aid for Delta’s checked-bag guarantee. It does not file anything. It gathers your own details, works out whether you are still inside the window, and sends you to Delta’s official form to make the claim yourself.

CalmRadar cannot submit, track, escalate, approve, or guarantee any claim, and has no ability whatsoever to influence what Delta decides. Whether you are eligible, whether you are paid, and what you are paid are Delta’s decisions under Delta’s published terms.

The timing rules the page relies on — the delivery standard, the window for filing, and how far back a claim may be dated — reflect what Delta published when the page was written. Delta can change its program at any time, and their current terms govern, not this page’s reading of them. When it matters, check delta.com/bag-guarantee yourself. A missed deadline, a rejected claim, or a claim you did not know you could make is not something CalmRadar can be held to.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or professional advice. Pages about privacy, data brokers, or personal information are descriptions of tools and are not a substitute for a lawyer. Pages about fares and claims are not financial advice. Decisions you make after reading anything here are yours.

Acceptable use

Do not:

  • Use the site to break the law, or to help anyone else do so.
  • Attempt to bypass, probe, or defeat the access controls on the gated applications. The login screen is a closed door, not a puzzle.
  • Automate requests at a volume that degrades the site for other people. Reading the archives with a script is fine; hammering them is not.
  • Present any part of this site as an official channel of Delta Air Lines or any other company, or use it to mislead anyone about who they are dealing with.
  • Republish the archives as your own work, or lift the material of the people preserved in them.

The archives and other people’s work

Two sections of this site are historical records rather than working software, and they contain material that is not CalmRadar’s to give away.

The Woot-Off Checker museum preserves a 2006 tool and the community traffic around it, including quoted posts and logs from that period, kept as a record of what happened.

The Film Log Database preserves a film log kept by fifteen people between 2010 and 2015. Their ratings and reviews remain their own writing; they appear here under pseudonyms as a preserved record, not as content offered for reuse. Poster images, film metadata, and the marks of the services the log linked to belong to their respective rights holders and appear as part of a historical archive.

If you wrote something preserved here, or hold rights in something shown here, and you want it changed or taken down, write to privacy@calmradar.com. A straightforward request gets a straightforward removal; there is nothing to argue about.

Availability

The site may change, move, break, or disappear without notice. Pages may be rewritten, tools may be retired, and archives may be pruned or taken offline. There is no uptime commitment and no promise that anything you find useful today will be here tomorrow. If a page matters to you, keep your own copy.

Provided as is

The site and everything on it are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

There is no warranty that the site will be available, accurate, current, complete, secure, or free of errors — and, given that one page is a preview built on invented data and two others are frozen archives from a decade ago, accuracy is expressly not being claimed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, CalmRadar is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, data, opportunity, or goodwill, arising out of your use of this site — including a missed claim deadline, a denied claim, a travel decision, or a fare you did or did not book.

You use this site at your own risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section and the one above may not apply to you; where that is so, the limitation applies only as far as the law permits.

The private apps on subdomains

Delta Fare Watch (delta.calmradar.com), Job.exe (jobs.calmradar.com/app), and Privacy Sweep (sweep.calmradar.com) are private applications gated by Cloudflare Access, operated for a single account holder. Simple Privacy Search (privacy.calmradar.com) and the public Job.exe preview are separate applications of their own. These terms cover calmradar.com and do not govern any of them.

The rest

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it for the next. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about this site.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change. When they do, the date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the site after that means accepting the new version. Every earlier version stays visible in the project’s public commit history, so a change is a matter of record rather than a quiet replacement.
